A precautionary boil water advisory has been lifted for 18 affected homes, within the Embassy Lakes community, following a water main break on Saturday, September 13. Our annual Touch-A-Truck is underway at Suellen H. Fardelmann Sports Complex, located at 10300 Stirling Road. The event goes until 12 PM, so there's plenty of time to come and enjoy the family fun!

A precautionary boil water advisory has been issued for 18 homes, within the Embassy Lakes community, due to a water main break at 10624 Managua Avenue. This advisory will remain in place for at least 48 hours and until testing confirms water is safe to consume at the affected homes. As a precaution, affected residents are advised to boil all water or use bottled water intended for consumption, including for: drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth and washing dishes. Our Utilities Department is responding to a water main break at 10624 Managua Avenue, within the Embassy Lakes community. As of 5:30 AM, September 13, there is no water service to 18 homes within the area. Updates will be provided as our team works to make the necessary repairs.

On Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, traffic will be shifted to one side of SW 90 Avenue, between SW 49 Street and SW 49 Court, from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Weather permitting, FPL will perform trenching across a section of SW 90 Avenue during this time, but will maintain access to northbound and southbound traffic.

New fencing and safety bollards have been installed along a canal easement between Flamingo Gardens West and the Countryside Shops. This comes after a horrific incident where an off-road vehicle struck and killed dozens of geese in late December 2024.
